Although the Closed Beta for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game was delayed to mid-October, fans can attend the CD PROJEKT RED panel that will give gamers a behind-the-scenes look at creating GWENT into a standalone title at this year’s PAX West 2016.

GWENT: Going Standalone, hosted by SourceFed’s Maude Garrett, will feature GWENT’s Principal Narrative Designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, Associate Art Director Kasia Redesiuk, and Community Manager Kristine Steimer. This panel will take place on Saturday, September 3rd at 12:00PM – 1:00PM PST in the Hydra Theatre at PAX West in the Washington State Convention Center.

For fans who are unable to attend PAX West can look forward to watching it steamed live on Twitch here.

GWENT, originally featured in the Witcher 3 as a side game, became so popular that it has been created as a standalone card game. Played over a best-of-three rounds, gamers clash with their friends in fast-paced duels with a combination of bluffing, on-the-fly decision making and careful deck construction. The GWENT Closed Beta is currently set to launch October 25, 2016. • Well written post and this web series is a great Idea. I am not that much into card games, but from what I played on the PS4. The game is pretty fun.
