Styx: Shards of Darkness Making of a Goblin Video
There is only one month left before the release of Styx: Shards of Darkness the latest Dark fantasy stealth title from Cyanide Studios. We are here to show off the latest developer diary detailing the creative process of this anticipated sequel.
More ambitious than its predecessor in every aspect, Shards of Darkness takes our nimble thief out of the shadows of Akenash and into a bigger world with more skills, a greater bestiary, and more intricate, vertical level design. Shards of Darkness benefits from a larger production and better realization, with a story supplemented by cutscenes in which Styx expresses his trademark wit and snark. Get a sneak peek at his sarcastic, fourth wall breaking humor in the Making of a Goblin video.
Styx is a little bast*rd that I enjoy a lot and takes a different look at an anti-hero style stealth game. There is a special place in my heart when a character breaks the fourth wall and gives any opponent the middle finger in a witty way. Styx is fearless and it gives you the player a chance to run around to have clever fun with this nimble goblin. Now I am not going to lie that stealth games and I have a harsh relationship, but since Styx shows character from your normal stealth adventure. I think I can get behind this foul mouth beast of a thief.
