Mechrunner – Review (PS4)
What’s going on dudes and dudettes, and I’m bringing you my first series of First Impressions with Mechrunner, available meow on PS4 and PC.
Developed by SparkPlug Games, using Unity game engine, comes this Kickstarter-backed up game with a mix of transformers-meets-Galaga; you’ll see what I mean.
The graphics look a bit primitive, but the music and SFX are pretty well done. The gameplay is very straightforward, just move your sticks left-to-right and smash the R2 trigger. Don’t even bother switching to Robot mode, you are a bigger target and your weapons don’t do as much damage as your tank.
I personally don’t like Railed games that much, especially on advanced systems, this would be great for a PS Vita or Nintendo 3DS, just seems that those types of games can be enjoyed more on the go, even on mobile would be amazing
I would only recommend this game if it was on any of the mobile stores. Just doesn’t feel right having a $400 console to play such a mindless and repetitive game. Nothing to see mhere.
