HyperX full-line of Peripherals Review
The doorbell rings at a quarter to 8 pm, as my other half answers the door, he witnesses a FedEx delivery man walking away. A massive box now sits upon my doorstep, He calls out to me “Are you expecting a package?”, “No?” I responded, “ Well it’s for you”, then he walks in the door with the package and states “It’s not Ticking!”. I open the box, which reveals a letter from HyperX, which starts off ironically with exactly what I was thinking.
This was an amazing surprise from HyperX as they promised back in July when they first contacted me on twitter wanting to send me something. HyperX is a professional gaming product line brought to us from Kingston Technology which is a computer technology corporation that develops, manufactures, sells and supports flash memory products and other computer-related memory products. HyperX is well known for their headsets, however they also make Keyboards, Mice, Mouse Pads, Memory, SSD, and USB drives. I am humbled to have the opportunity to receive such an incredible gift, and I am here now to share my thoughts on the peripherals I have received.
First up, we have the HyperX Cloud Revolver S Headset.
- Virtual Dolby 7.1 Surround
- Advanced USB Audio Control Box with DSP sound card
- 50mm Directional Drivers
- Signature HyperX Memory Foam
- Detachable noise-cancellation microphone
- Durable Steel Frame
- Durable Braided cable
The HyperX Cloud Revolver S headset is one of the most comfortable headsets I have had the pleasure of wearing, with the signature memory foam earmuffs and self adjusting headband. The sound quality is superb, featuring Virtual Dolby 7.1 surround sound, which is astonishing on Battlefield 1 which is already known for its high quality game audio. Within the chaotic game play you get crisp distinguished footsteps, explosions, gunfire, and overall in-game sound balance that is outstanding.
The USB audio Control box is nice and compact, with a covenant clip. The control box itself features a mute button, a surround sound button, three preset equalizer settings, mic and headset volume control knobs. The headset itself Plugs and plays Instantly on PS4, PC, & MAC with full functionality of the USB Audio Control box, however XBOX1 systems is limited to only stereo, which will require a Stereo Adapter that is not included if you are using an XBOX1 Controller that does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. The stereo quality is still superior to the HyperX Cloud headset I previously used. Interested in purchasing this amazing headset visit the HyperX website here.

The HyperX Alloy FPS keyboard is the first mechanical keyboard I have had the pleasure of using in my personal home. It has a remarkably sturdy compact design, leaving plenty of desktop space for mouse movement. The keyboard is portable with detachable cables and a covenant carrying pouch included. The keyboard features a USB charging port, which i have found convenient to plug in a wireless phone charging deck.
I am personally unfamiliar with Cherry MX mechanical keyswitches, the Cherry MX Blue have a very nice Clicky sound and great feedback while gaming. A combination of these quality keyswitches and the keyboards immaculate Anti-Ghosting and N-key rollover functions made it very easy to get back in the grove of keyboard play. The Alloy FPS comes with 8 additional colored keycaps, including textured WASD, which made it effortless to reposition back to those keys as a novice user. The keyboard itself is illuminated with HyperX Red LED backlights that have 5 levels of brightness, and feature 6 backlight modes.

The HyperX Pulsefire FPS Gaming mouse is an exceptionally well designed mouse, which has an illuminated HyperX logo and scroll wheel. It is a fairly nice sized right-handed mouse, I may be a female which are known to have smaller hands, however I do have slightly larger hands then most(8 cm wide by 15 cm Long, bottom of palm to tip of middle finger), This mouse just fits comfortably my hand perfectly, it it was any bigger it would be uncomfortable to me. The DPI button is conveniently located on top of the mouse above the scroll wheel, which features the preset DPI’s of 400, 800,1600,3200. This mouse features Non-Slip grips on both sides of the mouse, with the thumb buttons placed right above where your thumb would natural sit, which is very pleasant for long gaming or editing sessions. In conclusion, HyperX has some stunning high quality and affordable products to offer the gaming community. Outright today you would spend $329.96 USD on all of the above listed products, which will not disappoint you. Before receiving this package, I only previously owned a HyperX Cloud headset which I fell in love with. I am astonished at the overall quality of the build of each individual HyperX product, each features braided cords to limit long-term cable ware and solid components that I believe will hold up to the most intense gaming moments, which all look absolutely beautiful. I would like to last but not least, say Thank You, to the HyperX Team over at Kingston Technology for giving me the amazing experience to fully join the #HyperXFamily with a full-line of peripherals.
