What do you see in front of your fist? It is a question that dawned on me in my youth or from an old animated movie. There was another thing taught to me when I entered martial arts, “Know the enemy in the mirror!” Meaning that no other opponent will be tougher than the one you face every day in a reflection. The best thing about entering Absolver is being chosen and given a mask that hides what I consider your soul as a faceless warrior. Showing no emotion, no fear, and no sorrow only your martial skill in an open world full of other warriors geared to be the best. Are you ready to see your fate beyond what is in front of your fist?
Maybe it’s too early or 2017s preemptive trolling me, but being able to play 2 great games back to back? Maybe I’m pressing my luck. What else should we expect from Sega’s infamous Yakuza series? Yakuza has been a smash hit in Japan since its first installment. Once again a new Yakuza game comes in 2017 kicking ass and taking names as well as setting a pretty high bar for future 5/5s in 2017. But honestly what else would you expect from Sega’s epic kickass saga? Well, get those piggy banks, ready folks, because Yakuza 0 is most definitely worth every last penny!
To many Honor is the most important thing to have. It puts you in a state of worth and your morals define your characters. In this case, Goro Majima is a disgrace to his Tojo Clan and since this is a prequel to the series you will see him as a regular civilian. He is now appointed the role of manager of the magnificent Grand Cabaret in Sotenbori, Osaka. Let us take a look at this dandy new trailer.
Hello, loves! Well, I’m back with some great news! Between the tenth circle of hell that is working retail, and battling through the perils of college, I have caught wind of a Special Edition video game release! Before I dish on the goods, if you A.) Don’t have a PS4 B.) Don’t plan on ever getting one or C.)Both then don’t get yourself all hyped up. But if you’re neither of those things and love Yakuza, then you may board the hype train, just watch your step!
I am expecting to get judged harshly for playing this sort of game, but hell I have played Leisure Suit Larry series, DOA Beach Volleyball Series, and the famed Onechanbara Bikini Zombie Slayers. In all honesty, this game is NOTHING compared to those titles in the series. It has to be the diet coke of T & A, well Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball is not as bad being that is just showing off the ladies. In that being said, as we go into this journey I will talk to you about all that is to offer and of course our final sensual conclusion, but first, let’s take a look at some of the combat.
Help me to understand why in this day and age you would want anything that is technical rushed? Did you complete that game you bought a month ago? Did you get all those beautiful trophies that came with it? Are you the best of the best…of the best in the multiplayer portion of said game? No…then quit your whining for a new content. Okay, that is not fair because there is more to it than the supply to your endless demand. In all honesty, when has a game that was rushed ever been good? Let’s address the issue of death threats and Sean Murray delaying what looks to be a complicated open world adventure known as No Man’s Sky in my video below.
There is nothing like a good military title that pits you against not only enemies but the environment itself. The thing about these military games that got me into them wasn’t the idea of going out and killing all enemies forces, but to get a better understanding and respect for the real soldiers that do their thing as they enlist. They go to these other countries and brave unknown territories to fight, risking their lives for their country. These games are amazing and filled with fantastic stories which make them better being that they are roughly fictional or inspired scripts. In that let’s check out the breakdown trailer explaining what you will go through as a Ghost.
You know as a young gamer I always wanted to have a huge guild of different gamers from different platforms to just have a roundtable discussing different views and talks on different genres of games. I came close a few times and it was a great experience to be with a diverse group that would happily share their knowledge or thoughts on any video game. That gave me the idea and in many ways courage to just go out and hear many player stories, especially when I was working at a video game store which made it easier to get to know the gamer. It was a sales tactic at first, but as the time went by I became fascinated by each and everyone’s story, even the kid gamers had an interesting story to tell. Be it the first time you played a game or the epic battles you have it was all a great story to hear and the passion in their voice is genuine. Here we are now with our first video review sitting here with Steve Myers, also known on twitch.tv as WithSteve. An appropriate name for a humble gamer, please enjoy.
